More about nadia
Hello, world 🙂 I am Nadia, the heart behind Visual Poetry. Thanks for visiting my work!
I believe in everything beautiful and I am crazy about celebrations. In addition to that, I absolutely adore animals, am a plant fanatic and have singing compulsions. Ha!
I’ve been in the industry for over 7 years, and I love it! I love it because it allows me to showcase pieces of art which carry emotional energy articulating raw beauty.
I believe my ability to capture such moments has been given to me by the designer of everything beautiful, God. I specialise in creating warm, emotive and descriptive photographs.
My ideal clients enjoy the way I portray their vulnerable, authentic love by revealing these moments spontaneously and elegantly. I am not interested in make-believe poses and re-do of moments. I am interested in the moments revealing the actual adoration and love between you and your honey and you and your family. I don’t want to be a stranger to you, but a friend helping you celebrate whatever we are celebrating!
Visual Poetry’s home base is in Cape Town, South Africa, but traveling is part of the fun. I make use of glorious light, breathtaking landscapes, and beautiful people, like you. Visual Poetry covers weddings over weekends, public holidays and school holidays. Other shorter shoots such as pre-wedding shoots, lifestyle shoots and portrait sessions will ideally be done during weekdays. I also shoot newborns in the comfort of your own home. Do ask my about my “Watch-Me-Grow” package! I guess the little ones speak to my heart as they too are a loud testimony of our Creator’s mercy.
Something else about me that might make you go “huh” is that I teach Life Science & Math to High School learners with Special Needs. This too, I love. And I adore my learners. So how lucky am I to have the opportunity to simultaneously practice two major passions of mine – creating Visual Poetry and empowering youth?!
Now, with all this being said, if you are a light lover, a dreamer, or a hopeless romantic and you can relate to what I’ve just divulged, please do contact me – I would love to hear your story. Let’s grab a coffee.
